Since the days when John Illsley was a young teenager, he had a passion for two things. The first one was, of course, his bass guitar, and the second passion was his love for art and paintings. After Dire Straits disbanded, John Illsley started to spend most of his time in his art studio.
In his art gallery, John has a lot of abstract paintings and one part of the gallery is already sold. Illsley has some new paintings which he put them in the rooms of his local pub and bar called The East End Arms
