The former drummer and one of the founders of the band Dire Straits, during the next month (July 2022), wants to invite all the fans and readers of Dire Straits Blog to come to the United Kingdom and be a part of his new project, i.e. a music band called Pick’s Pocket.

Otherwise, Pick has a good team of musicians and collaborators in his band. His team has worked with many famous music artists and musical legends such as Mark Knopfler, Eric Clapton, and Rod Stewart. Pick’s band includes the following musicians:

  • MARCUS CLIFFE – he plays bass guitar and has worked with Mark Knopfler, Al Green, Eric Clapton, Rod Stewart, Manfred Mann Band, and many more
  • LUCA BOSCAGIN – he plays guitar and has worked with Jason Rebello, Cinematic Orchestra, Jim Mullen, and many more
  • JIM WATSON – he plays on keyboards and has worked with Sting and Peter Gabriel, Katie Melua and The Strictly Come Dancing Orchestra, and many more
  • MEGAN THOMAS & DANIEL WALKER – they both are band wonderful singers.

For now, there are only two shows that Pick has already announced. The first show will be near Liverpool, in West Kirby Arts Center, Wirral starting at 7:00 PM. The price for the ticket for this show is £20.00 and you can buy it online – HERE.

The second show is announced for the 15th of July. The location for it will be in the heart of London at Piano Smithfield. Doors will be open at 6:00 PM, and the show will start at 8:00 PM. The ticket price for this show is £25.00, and you can book your ticket online – HERE.

On these shows, Pick will be re-visiting a selection of his favorite R&B/Soul tunes from the sixties through to the nineties. An organic mix of soulful singing and stirring playing that will make you want to dance and groove along.
