The ex-band member of Dire Straits, pianist and keyboardist Alan Clark has just shared a new blog post on his Instagram profile. The news is about his upcoming piano solo album called “Backstory”.
As he wrote in the post description “Backstory” is an album of tracks that he played on with various artists and bands, over the years.
“This time next week, the first track of my new piano solo album becomes available,” he wrote. To the surprise of all Dire Straits fans, Alan’s first track on this album will be “Romeo and Juliet”.
He added: “The first track is Dire Straits’ Romeo and Juliet. The rest of the album becomes available later the year.” You can also pre-save the track via the link – HERE.
Otherwise, Alan is a long-time friend of Mark and they’re still in touch. Although they’re both in their old ages, they’re still at the studio and making music for the fans. Music fulfills them spiritually and mentally, so in the near future, we’re expecting something new from them.
