Mark Knopfler from yesterday has started his series of concerts in France for his new solo album ‘Down The Road Wherever.’
Namely, the 70-year-old ex-singer and leader of the band Dire Straits began on Monday night his series of concerts in Bordeaux. This is one of the concerts from his farewell tour around Europe.
At the front of more than 10,000 people in Arkéa Arena, Mark Knopfler performed songs from his last solo album ‘Down The Road Wherever,’ as well as his hit songs and classics from the days with Dire Straits including the song ‘Brothers in Arms’.
All the French people who were at this concert were the witnesses of one wonderful atmosphere and magical night that was formed by Mark Knopfler alongside his band.
Tonight he is in Toulouse at the Zenith Toulouse Metropole, on May 12 he will perform in Strasbourg and after that, he will come back in France on June 17 and June 19 with performances in Paris and Lyon. His last concert in France would be on July 15 in Nimes Antic Arena.
