If you are from Italy, you must to love the music. Today we have interesting short post for all readers of DSB. Edoardo Cococcia who is from Italy and he have 27 years, made video of 7 minutes where he played nine different solos from Mark Knopfler’s songs on different guitars.
Edoardo started to play guitar when he was 14 years old. Today he is a big fan of Mark Knopfler and Dire Straits. Edoardo sent us email with information about him, and also he sent us video from YouTube where he played solos from Mark Knopfler on different electric guitars.
At the beginning, when Edoardo started to play guitar he started with the plettro, but after some time he started to pass on the technique of fingerpicking, especially because of Mark Knopfler. Edoardo said:
“I consider that Mark is one of the best guitarists in the world”.
Edoardo play lead guitar at the Italian Dire Straits tribute band called ‘Making Movies’ since 2010. On YouTube he has made his little tribute video to the genius Mark Knopfler including many songs of MK and DS. Edoardo added:
“Hope you will enjoy in the video. I really like Mark Knopfler style of playing and singing songs. This is my video where I played nine different solos from him, on different electric guitars. Enjoy”, finished Edoardo.
