Today we would like to share with you two amazing videos by Francois Lepage, the man who met Mark Knopfler in Bordeaux, France last year. Also, Francois is the frontman of the band Ripley in France, which is a cover band who is playing songs by Dire Straits and of course their own songs.

Namely, Francois these days made two excellent videos for his fans and of course for the fans of Dire Straits. Little improvisation on his Gibson guitar in his living room during the quarantine time is a good idea for everyone who is playing on guitars. Francois shows the sustain of that good guitar in a video of almost 4-minutes.

“The G0 is a special run of R0 made for Guitar Center. This guitar has a plain maple top instead of the flamed top of the standard R0,” he said.

Also, he made a personal cover video with his son Augustin Lepage of the song by Tom Petty “Don’t Pull Me Over” from the album Mojo.

“I’m so proud of my son Augustin. He played the lead guitar on an early 80s Schecter Stratocaster Van Nuys. The Danelectro guitar was a gift for my 40th birthday from my good friend Stephane L.,” he said.

Also, he added: “There will be some Dire Straits stuffs for sure.” If you want to check out Ripley’s covers of the songs by Dire Straits click here.
