Abramorama and Showtime Networks will release the documentary “Eric Clapton: Life in 12 Bars” tomorrow on 24 November 2017 in the theaters around USA.
The broadcast premiere of the movie would be on 10 February, 2018 by Showtime. The documentary is directed by Zanuck Co. and Passion Pictures production. Producers are Lili Fini Zanuck, Scooter Weintraub, Larry Yelen, and John Battsek. Vinnie Malhotra is the executive producer.
Abramorama has become a specialist in releasing music-driven documentaries, collaborating with Green Day, Neil Young, and Pearl Jam, and releasing films about the Beatles, Bert Berns, Clive Davis, Sean Combs, and the Grateful Dead.
Clapton has won 18 Grammy’s and is the only person inducted three times into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame — once as a solo artist and separately as a member of the Yardbirds and Cream. “Eric Clapton: Life in 12 Bars” premiered in September at the Toronto International Film Festival.

The movie includes access to Clapton’s extensive personal archive, including his most famous performances, backstage footage, home movie footage, iconic and private photos, handwritten letters, and personal diary entries.
