Renne Simonne and Igi Man are the duo band from the Republic of Macedonia. Their real names are Renata Simonovska and Igor Stanoeski.

Today, we want to share their cover video for the song “Six Blade Knife” by Dire Straits. The song is recorded between 2019 and 2020, in Alshar Studio in Macedonia.

Cover video for the song “Six Blade Knife” is released on Igi’s YouTube channel on April 8, 2020. Also, they are working on their upcoming album called Vintage Tales.

Besides Igor and Renata as the front members and lead vocals, the band is formed by several other members.

There are also Pere Angelov who is playing on the bass guitar, Goce Stevkovski on drums, and Aleksandar Nikodinovski who is playing on the Hammond instrument. All members of the band are Macedonians.

A few words about Igi Man

Igor Stanoeski better known as Igi Man (his stage name) is a musician, composer-arranger, writer, Academic sculptor, and producer. He actively deals with musical performances and music recordings for 15 years.

Overall work of his style and genre encompasses the direction of rock, blues, jazz, and pop music in the interpretation of instrumental and vocal compositions. Igor has a significant number of club and concert appearances.

In 2003 at the age of 16, Igor appeared for the first time in the Macedonian scene as endorse guitarist of the music brand for instruments Yamaha. Behind him, he has a significant number of club and concert appearances.

Seven years later, in 2010 he opens the Blues & Soul Festival in the capital city of Macedonia – Skopje, with an independent performance and as guest with Gregg Wright (the famous guitarist of the Thriller tour of Michael Jackson).

He also appeared in 2011 as a guest of Shakura Said Blues Band alongside Donna Grantis who was a part of the last band cast Third Eye Girl of the world-famous Prince. 

In 2013 he ends in a competition of over 2.600 artists in the international competition Play Crossroads organized by the corporate network of Ernie Ball and Eric Clapton. From the votes of the audience and the jury commission in the selection of the first 10 artists, he has won the 7th place.

To sum up, until now he has recorded about 50 songs, 10 originals, as well as authentic standard covers, most of which have been released on his YouTube channel, as well as two DVD live versions.
