“One World” is a song by Dire Straits originally from their fifth studio album Brothers in Arms from 1985.
The French guitarist David Claux is back again with a new video cover. This time he has covered the song “One World” played by Dire Straits during their Brothers in Arms Tour from 1985/86.
“This is my rendition of the live version of ‘One World’. I love the original, but the live version is just powerful,” he said.
Every video cover that David does is completely great and phenomenal. He does all this professionally, and the goal is to satisfy the fans and to enjoy the music. “I absolutely love the Brothers in Arms album. There isn’t one song that isn’t a hit for me. ‘One World’ is one of those songs that doesn’t get much attention in general, and it has that peculiarity that Dire Straits played a version of it that they changed “a little bit” during the Brothers in Arms Tour.”
“While I love the original, the super powerful and punchy live version gets my vote. Unfortunately, there is no recording of that live version with good audio. So far a while I’ve been wondering what it would sound like if it had been recorded in a studio. This is my attempt at doing just that,” he finished.
Note: This video cover is best for listening with headphones.
