Gibson Custom is pleased to announce the release of the Mark Knopfler 1958 Les Paul, a precise replica of Mark’s original ’58, a favored live and recording companion of one of the most revered players and writers of our time.
The Mark Knopfler 1958 Les Paul Standard is available in a limited number of 50 Aged & Hand-Signed by Mark Knopfler (True Historic Spec), 75 Aged (Standard Historic Spec) and 150 VOS (Standard Historic Spec).
During the time when Dire Straits entered the second and most successful phase of their career, Mark Knopfler looking for a new sound to change things up, and he found that in the powerful tone at guitar ’58 Les Paul ‘Brust.
