After we published a post with very rare images from the tour bus that Dire Straits had for its 1985 tour, today we will like to present you with another retro image from that same period. It is a postcard from their 1985 tour.
Namely, one of our loyal fans and reader of Dire Straits Blog sent us a message with his Dire Straits postcard. Marcello Michelet officially for our blog said:
“I got this postcard back in 1985 when of my first trip to England from Brazil (where I used to live). Those were awesome times”.
Otherwise, Marcello used to live in Brazil but now he has been living in Canada for almost 24 years. He added: “I’ve been in Canada for almost 24 years now, but still visit my family and friends every time I can in Brazil.”
“This is a postcard from 1985 from my personal collection,” he added. His occupation is as a pre-sales engineer for the telecom and software industries. But, as he said music is his love for sure.
