To all our readers and fans, today we have one sad news. Yesterday we received a message from a fan who informed us that Willian Soares da Silva – better known as Willian Lee the Brazilian musician and guitar artist from the streets of Brazil passed away at 46 years.

Willian was a Brazilian composer, singer, and guitarist from Belo Horizonte. He was born on 22 September 1970. Unfortunately, he passed away on 3 July 2017, at the age of 46. Willian was known as the guitarist who played Dire Straits songs in the streets of Brazil.

In his career, he played with Sergio Reis, Donizeti, and other outstanding musicians. His talent was recognized by many people from the streets of his town. Willian’s videos from YouTube were recognized in several parts of the world.

In 2011 he recorded his first and last gospel album titled “The Promise”, produced by Edmilson Aureliano, Gamaliel de Souza, and Rick Andrade.

Unfortunately, in 2017 Willian was diagnosed with cancer in the pancreas. His dear friend Léo Franclin through YouTube has written a statement in which he informed Willian’s fans about his death. He wrote:

I want to inform all, unfortunately, our beloved and blessed brother, all-hour friend, and companion Willian Lee passed away on (03/07/17) at 10:30 pm, in the AC Camargo hospital at age of 46.

Willian, you will be forever in our hearts, thank you for letting us have the pleasure of being with you to meet you, we love you very much. The Lord Jesus Christ is holding you right now! Rest in Peace, beloved and dear friend, we love you forever and ever, Amin!
