Today we have interesting videos from our new musician and fan – Alex Immordino. Namely, Alex is French musician which currently living in France. He is 26 years old and he just started to record videos on YouTube. Also, he is very active on his Instagram profile where he shared guitar performances and shows his skills.

When he was 14 years old, he found acoustic guitar at his grandmother attic. Since then, the beautiful ‘virus’ never left him. Music is his addict. We communicated with Alex and he gave us precise details about his career and guitar performances.

“After I found the acoustic guitar in my grandmother attic, some months later, as I was discovering open chords and simple songs, a friend gave me a guitar tab book where ‘Sultans of Swing’ was in. I didn’t know anything about Dire Straits and Mark Knopfler at the time,” he said.

“So, I started to study the song but didn’t have a clue how to play it. I simply didn’t understand how possible it was…Licks were so sophisticated and unusual for me. As I fell in love with the song, I went further and searched for online covers, live performances and lessons.”

“Then, the moment that changed my guitar player life for ever happened. I discovered it was finger picked! That opened so much new guitar horizons for me and by today, I can honestly say that Mark Knopfler is the guitar player that influenced me the most.”

“Also, I am initially more of a Les Paul type of player, but that definitely turned me into Fender Stratocasters. After having owned quite a few, I eventually managed to get my hands on a MK Stratocaster that never left me and my love for the band and MK never disappeared since then.”

In addition, too on his YouTube Channel you can expect some covers, original compositions or gear review. You can join for a little journey through chords and melodies with Alex.
