A couple days ago, John Illsley has share with the fans a good news. Namely, John will have a UK Tour in March this year. The tickets for the tour are available for sale through the next link:

John on his Facebook post wrote: ‘In addition to music, the evening comprises a Q&A with audio-visuals led by Paul Cummins (ex-Dire Straits management) who will be asking the questions. John promises to reveal the story of the band from its humble beginnings in a council flat in South London, where songs like ‘Sultans of Swing’ and ‘Wild West End’ were created, to its journey playing all over the world to millions of fans.’

“Having Mark Knopfler as songwriter, singer and guitar player in the band gave Dire Straits its unique character. It was a pleasure for me to be able to contribute to the distinctive sound we had and to enjoy the friendship and musical journey that Mark and I shared.”

John will also be joined on stage by fellow musicians from his own band. They will play songs from the whole Dire Straits’ catalogue including ‘Money for Nothing’, ‘Brothers in Arms’, ‘Romeo and Juliet’ and ‘Sultans of Swing’.

You should hurry up for the tickets because already the show scheduled for Teddington for March 15, 2019 is sold out. Tickets are available from John Illsley official website.
