These days, during the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) problem all around the world, musicians and all the bands postponed their tours, and shows. David Knopfler wrote a letter to all his fans on Facebook, that his entire tour with his friend Harry Bogdanovs – Heartlands Tour 2020 is postponed.

Namely, he wrote: “I’m sorry to report that all dates for the 2020 Heartlands Tour of Belgium and Germany for March-May 2020 have been officially postponed until 2021. New dates for those shows will be announced fairly immediately. Existing tickets can be held over the alternative requests for refunds will, I am told, be honored by all promoters.”

“I’d like to take this opportunity to thank you all for your wonderful continued support over the decades and I offer my sincerest apologies for those who feel disappointed. I’ll be actively considering ways to open up online access to live performances and other interesting things soon. Meanwhile please stay safe,” added David Knopfler.

“In the UK for May, I’ve just been similarly notified that the Horizon festival has been canceled and realistically I think it likely similar decisions will be taken regarding the remaining UK dates but I’m waiting to hear more and will, of course, update as soon as I know more,” finished David.

We hope for your understanding, stay healthy and safe!
