“I’m a very big fan of Dire Straits and Mark Knopfler. I founded a tribute band called Expresso Love – the name is the same as one of the Dire Straits songs. We are professional musicians and we’ve been playing around our country for the last three years with this band.”

Members of this band are Marcello which is the lead guitarist, Riccardo Campagno on keyboards, Giovanni Giordano on rhythm guitar, Giuseppe Nisticò, and Francesco Vittone on drums.

“If you’re in a good mood, you can listen to our few demos that we’ve made from Dire Straits songs. I hope you’ll enjoy it,” he added.

The second demo that the band recorded was the opening song of Dire Straits’ first album – “Down to the Waterline”. In the line-up, there is also Riccardo Campagno on keyboards who in this case limited himself to doing choirs, as the piece was originally recorded with the first quartet formation of the well-known British band.
