Hello everyone, we haven’t been on our favorite blog for a long time, but here we go again. We hope that everything is fine with you now in addition to this harmful situation that surrounds us. We are now back!

We haven’t talked in a long time about Francois and Augustin Lepage. During the past months in quarantine, they have made amazing guitar covers from the songs by Dire Straits. You can find them on our blog, where the (search) icon is.

For today we have an interesting video by Francois and Augustin (his son) Lepage. This time video is taken during their holidays, which they had booked a sailboat in Greece last year with their friends. But, thought until the very last moment they could not go there due to COVID.

“We were actually lucky to be able to go and took the opportunity of a great sunset to record an acoustic version of ‘Sultans of Swing’ with Augustin before the night at Hydra Island, Greece. We enjoyed this time a lot as the moment and lights were really magical. This song means a lot to us because with this song both of us learned how to play the guitar,” wrote Francois in the e-mail that he sent to us.

He also added: “This is a shortened version as we do not sing every verse here, because the phone we used was running out of battery. We did this then quickly and had no time for rehearsal or a second recording. We hope that you will like the video below. Stay safe and updated with DSB, Francois, and Augustin.”
