Watch the full event from “Music for Montserrat” (1997)

As we already wrote “Music for Montserrat” was the event organized in Royal Albert Hall, London by George Martin.

The event brought together many musicians including Sting, Clapton, Knopfler, Elton John, Paul McCartney and Phil Collins.

They all gathered because the sad events that affected the island in 1997. The island was completely destroyed and many people died in those events. The concert collected approximately £1.5 million, and George Martin helped for building a new cultural center in Montserrat.

On 15 September 1997 at Royal Albert Hall in London Mark Knopfler together with Sting, Clapton, Paul McCartney and Phil Collins had wonderful performances and collaborations. You can watch the whole event at video below, enjoy!
