Sending Signals is a show about music, movies, and creativity. Matt Royal is the man who is standing behind this project as well as the interviewer of the show. On July 30th, 2019, his guests were John Illsley the ex-bassist of Dire Straits, and Mike Connell from The Connells.
That was episode nine from the first season of Sending Signals. In that episode, John Illsley talks about nostalgia, the pressure of being huge, and whether bass players should make solo albums. Also, you may remember The Connells for their hit “74-75” but there’s a lot more to the band’s career. As Mike said, “It was awesome to talk to Mike Connell from the band about their past and future.”
