Mark Knopfler is being a part of the Celebrity Shoe Auction 2020. This year the project marks a decade. From international rock stars, athletes, and supermodels, hundreds of celebrities have taken a small step by donating their signed shoes.
One of the most celebrated British guitar heroes to emerge in the late 1970s and ‘80s, lead singer and lead guitarist of the Dire Straits has donated and upcycled his shoes!
Mark has donated a pair of autographed shoes to the Small Steps Project Celebrity Shoe Auction which will run from November 13th to the 22nd. Among a host of celebrities who has donated autographed shoes are Rod Stewart, Ronnie Wood, Brian May, and Sir Tom Jones.
The Small Steps Project is a UK charity. 100% of profits raised will go to help support barefoot children living in the landfill. Providing them with shoes, education, food, and dignity.
This year the auction will be on this page, linking directly to eBay. Going live on Friday 27th November closing bids on Sunday 6th December 2020.
