The ex-pianist from Dire Straits, Alan Clark has announced that the next month he will have a music show in London. Namely, the fans will have a chance to enjoy an evening with him, singing and playing the tracks from his highly acclaimed new solo and piano album ‘Backstory’.
On his official Instagram account, Alan has shared the following:
“I’m delighted to announce that I will be performing tracks from my new piano solo album ‘Backstory’ at Hampstead’s Heath Street Baptist Church.”
For those who are unfamiliar with Alan Clark, he is a musician with many years of experience in the music industry. He is a member and winner of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame award since 2018, and many other awards in music. Alan is one of the rock music’s rarities, a keyboard player who makes classical piano work in the rock environment.
Clark has played and recorded with a long list of other artists that include Eric Clapton, whose band he was in for 3 years; Tina Turner, as her musical director; Bob Dylan, The BEE GEES, Rod Stewart, and many others. Alan Clark has spent the last 40 years making rock history.
