As well as others, our fans everyday send us many messages from all over world. Two young guys from Slovenia, sent us a video where they played a solo from Dire Straits song “Sultans of Swing”.
For Dire Straits Blog – we talked with Matej Vetrih, the guy who actually sent us the video. He revealed for us some things for him and his friend.
Matej Vetrih and his friend Primoz made this solo from Dire Straits song “Sultans of Swing”. They both are 18 years old and they are from Slovenia.
“Primoz started playing guitar when he was a kid, and his father showed him some basic chords”, said Matej.
“I started playing bass guitar about two years ago. The father of my friend Primoz showed me some basics chords, but now we are self-taught. We never went to music school. We are thinking about making a small band, so we actually do not have any music career for now”, added Matej.
“We wanted to record new video but we had no time. We will make another video from Dire Straits as soon as we can”, finished Matej.
