Timucin Toprak is a Turkish musician, songwriter, and guitarist born in 1980 in Istanbul, Turkey. When he was only 15-years-old, he started playing on the guitar.

Our team noticed his work on Instagram, especially for his guitar solo for the song “Sultans of Swing” by Dire Straits.

“I’m a big fan of Dire Straits and Pink Floyd. When I was a kid, the guitar style of Mark Knopfler really has impressed me. My favorite song is “Telegraph Road,” he said.

In the video below you will have a chance to see how he performed this amazing guitar solo. Also, pay attention to his fingerpicking style. The guitar on which he has been played is a 1992 model USA Fender standard Stratocaster.

“I am currently interested in my own music compositions, and I love listening to the Dire Straits and playing their music songs,” he added.
