So far, this is the latest made remix of the song ‘Sultans of Swing’ by Dire Straits. The remix of this video is published on YouTube on October 27, 2019, by David Graham.
Namely, David Graham sent a message where he shares his remix of the song with us. The video is produced and mixed by David.
“I have been a Dire Straits fan for nearly 30 years, and have subsequently been following Mark Knopfler since the band was broke up in the early ‘90s,” he wrote.
“I thought it would be nice to take one of their classic songs and try and give it a new lease of life and perhaps introduce early Dire Straits music to a new audience,” he added.
“This remix was made using the original vocal sample from the Dire Straits album, layered over an original backing track made by myself. The video was compiled by myself using royalty-free clips,” he finished.
The song ‘Sultans of Swing’ was included on the first studio album by the band back in 1978. Upon its initial release, the album was sold in over 6 million copies worldwide. Dire Straits went onto a release a further 5 studio albums including the worldwide smash “Brothers in Arms” in 1985.
Now, you can check the video remix below and give us a comment if you like it. Maybe David will make some new remixes by Dire Straits in the future. Enjoy.
