“Baloney Again” is a song written and recorded by Mark Knopfler – the legendary British guitarist and the former lead vocalist of Dire Straits.

The song was included on his 2000 solo album ” Sailing to Philadelphia,” which was critically acclaimed for its blend of folk and rock elements. “Baloney Again” features Knopfler’s signature guitar playing style, characterized by his fingerpicking technique and the use of a clean, chiming tone.

In this cover-jam video of “Baloney Again,” Heres pays homage to Knopfler’s original work while adding his own unique touch to the guitar solo. For those who didn’t know, Heres is a singer-songwriter and a guitarist singing both in English and French. When he was 15, he got his first guitar. It was a classical one, on which he trained for several years.

Before finding his “lover,” a black Stratocaster, which he used in his first three albums (“Changer de peau – 2006”, “HERES President – 2008” and “Renaissance – 2014”). In December 2019 he released his first song in English, “Loving Me Again.”

For this jam video cover, Heres has used a Gibson Les Paul Standard 2016 USA electric guitar. The video which you will have a chance to watch below is almost 2 minutes long.
