On 12th June 2021, Mark Knopfler has donated a signed 2011 Fender Signature Stratocaster guitar in aid of the Streets of London – ‘Come On Home’ fundraiser campaign. With this move, Mark once again showed that he does good to the environment, especially for the people from London.
Mark Knopfler is supporting this campaign, which is raising vital funds to help homeless people off the streets in the capital.
About the Campaign
By the information from the official website, people experiencing homelessness are some of the most vulnerable and marginalized in our society, and the last year has been a particularly tough time for them.
The economic impact of the pandemic is leading to a whole new wave of people becoming street homeless. The latest figures show more than 3,000 people slept rough on the capital’s streets between January and March.

Entries can be purchased between Wednesday 2nd June 2021 and Friday 25th June 2021. The winner will be notified by Friday 2nd July via email.
What’s the prize?
The iconic 2011 Fender Signature Stratocaster from Mark Knopfler’s collection was picked for its tone, playability, and weight. It is strung with D’ Addario EXL110 gauge strings.
A full gallery of photographs showing the guitar’s various parts (taken pre-signing) can be seen HERE.
Two printed photographs of Mark signing the guitar will be included in the package to be sent to the lucky winner.
Worldwide shipping is included and Streets of London will provide an accompanying letter of authentication confirming that the item comes directly from Mark’s management, having been generously donated by him for this prize draw.
