Mark Knopfler has released a promotional video of the song “Cleaning My Gun”. The song is extracted from the album “Get Lucky”, released in September 2009.
Although he released a new album in 2015 “Tracker”, Mark choose to promote a track from his album from 2009. The single “Cleaning My Gun” is extracted from the 6th album “Get Lucky”.
The piece is presented to the public in black and white clip recorded live in British Grove Studios.Mark Knopfler’s latest album “Tracker” appeared on the market in the spring of 2015.
For this album, Knopfler collaborated on the production side with his old friend, Guy Fletcher. The disc includes two songs inspired Mark friendship with Bob Dylan: “Silver Eagle” and “Lights of Taormina“.
Mark Knopfler founded Dire Straits in 1977 with his brother David Knopfler, John Illslay and Pick Withers. Unfortunately the group had several changes which contributed to the disintegration of Dire Straits in 1995. Mark Knopfler continued successful solo career and has remained in the public mind as “the soul and image Dire Straits”.
