The incredible moment three-year-old Russian drummer leads the orchestra of adult musicians through Offenbach’s Can-Can

Lyonya Shilovsky is a 10-years-old boy from Novosibirsk, Russia. He is born on December 12, 2009, and he is a young growing musician. He started to play on drums when he was only 15-moths-old.

When he was only 3-years-old, he made his first steps on the stage, taking the center position with the adult orchestra. The video where he played with them became viral on YouTube at the time, especially because of his incredible drumming ability.

The video below is from the mid of 2014 and Lyonya showed an advanced technique. He played a section of the Offenbach’s “Orpheus in the Underworld,” a song that we know as “The Can-Can”.

Followed by the whole Novosibirsk Symphony Orchestra the little boy made an amazing atmosphere in the audience’s hearts. His performance was rewarded with a round of applause and a bouquet of flowers.

Today, Lyonya is almost 10-years-old and he loves to play everything including classical music, rock, jazz, metal, and progressive music. Lyonya also plays on xylophone and he learning to play kettle-drum, marimba, and bongo.
