Today we have interesting video for all our readers and fans of Dire Straits. Namely, Leandro Diaz Lasserre (35) is from Argentina and he is big fan of Dire Straits and their music.

He plays on guitar, since he was 17 years old. For the last 18 years he was bass player. The story between him and Dire Straits started many years ago, when his dad bought his first Dire Straits CD’s somewhere in 1991.

Then Leandro started to realize that Dire Straits are perfect band with difference in their music and special sound. He dreamed, one day to play “Sultans of Swing” by Dire Straits. After all, he finally said: “Mission is accomplished!”

He sent us his solo version of Sultans – which last 5 and half minutes. The video is below and Leandro is very good. Also he told us that he mostly played bass, pop and Argentinian rock. He said: “I kind of specialize in fretless bass, always loved the sound and liberty it gives you.”
