“Sultans of Swing” is a popular rock and roll song by Dire Straits, and this song is about a jazz band nobody wants to hear.
The song was released in 1978 and it was a debut song for the British band, which made them take a step to the top of the music charts back at the time.
The song tells of a time when Mark Knopfler saw a jazz group perform in the Deptford section of London.
Today Shawn and Trey (father and son) will give out their reactions to this song by Dire Straits in a 10-minutes video below. This track is full of great guitar work and had a cool backstory.
The video is uploaded on February 7, 2020, at their YouTube channel called The Reactions to the Classics. Find out what Shawn and Trey have said about “Sultans of Swing,” one of the smoothest songs by Dire Straits and of course great hit by them. Enjoy the video below!
