Greensky Bluegrass is an American bluegrass and rock band founded in Kalamazoo, Michigan in mid-2000. The band has evolved over the years, growing from 3 to 5 members. Members of the band have described their sound as their own version of bluegrass music.

Members of the band play on banjo, acoustic and electric guitars, mandolin, and dobro. The frontman of the band Michael Arlen Bont plays on a banjo instrument. They are together for almost 20 years, and they had up to 175 shows per year. Dave, Paul, Michael, Andres, and Mike are all five members of the band.

Today, we would like to share their cover for the song “Money for Nothing.” This cover version is recorded live in Paste Studio in Atlanta, Georgia, USA, on February 7, 2020. Whole audio and video produce and mixing is work on Chris Senador and Andrew Barkau.

We have to admit that a very small group of musicians, especially musicians like this band try to do their own versions from some of the songs by Dire Straits. Also, this is one specific and very good music video. It’s really worth watching.

This video cover is uploaded by Paste Magazine on YouTube. Check out the video below and hit us with a comment on what do you think about this band and this Dire Straits cover.
