Miguel Montalban is a musician, guitarist and composer born in Santiago de Chile. He started his professional career in 2013 with one rock band called Andes Empire in Rome.

The first single off their first album “Reverse” recorded by RBL Music, won the RedBull Music Contest and took the band to Milan and Sardinia to headline concerts for more than 15.000 people. In 2014 together with producer and mastering expert Kevin Metcalfe, Miguel recorded new single “Girl” at the Red Bull Music Studios in London.

Also Miguel has continued to working on his solo instrumental rock album called “Inspirations”. The Volumes 1 and 2 of their album have sold more than 20.000 copies all around in world since their release in 2013.

Montalban is now recognized all over the world thanks to the success which he has from his albums and especially because of his series of street performances at all European capitals cities. Videos from his fans have become viral hits on internet, racking up millions of views.

One video from Miguel which has also millions of views are video where he played street solo version from Dire Straits song “Sultans of Swing” live in London at Oxford Circus at 24th January 2016. Nine and a half minutes of brilliant, exceptional talent. See how it sounds. And it sounds sensational!

In 2015 Miguel finally left the Music Academy where he had been studying Jazz Guitar and moved to London to pursue his career full time. There together with Mike Hedges and Haydn Bendall recorded guitar for Vincint Nicol’s album produced by Sony Music and continues to collaborate with musicians and producers like Andy Whitmore.

Currently Miguel is working on his new project, a psychedelic rock band called “Pineapple Road Explosion”.
