Andre Antunes

He has specific and different style of playing guitar, he is a guitar player with, if we can say that – ‘future’ style of playing guitar…something that would be interesting for a five or more years.

He’s name is Andre Antunes and his video had a viral sensation two years ago (in 2015), when he tried to copied the styles of 10 famous guitarists while he played solo from Daft Punk’s ‘Get Lucky’ song.

After that he do not stopped. He continued to created interesting and specific videos. He also made an amazing solo video where he played songs from Michael Jackson in his style – actually in styles of 20 famous guitarists. At that video below he wrote:

“What would happen if 20 of the most famous guitar players played a Michael Jackson medley together?”

Now he’s back again, before 4 months on his official YouTube channel, he shared a video where he played ‘Sultans of Swing’ – a classic song which is great for listening and of course is perfect for playing it on guitar.

Andre wrote: “’Sultans of Swing’ is such a fun song to jam to.”

The video follows styles of 12 famous guitarists including: Slash, Brian May, Randy Rhoads, Eddie Van Halen and eight others.

But the interesting thing is that Andre goes a step further by incorporating solos from those players into the performance, including songs like “Sweet Child O’ Mine” (Slash), “Don’t Stop Me Now” (May), “Crazy Train” (Rhoads) and “Eruption” (Van Halen), “The Trooper”, “Hotel California” and “Free Bird”.

We will contact Andre and if we have feedback from him, we will share that in special post with an exclusive interview for all our fans and readers, till then, below is the video where Andre played ‘Sultans of Swing’. Enjoy!
