After his performances in Barcelona, Valencia and Madrid, the former Dire Straits singer Mark Knopfler arrives today in Cordoba with the tour of his latest album ‘Down The Road Wherever,’ which as he has been announcing in his Spanish concerts, it will be his last concert in Cordoba.
“I am old,” he said during these concerts, who will turn 70-years this August. On the stage he performed his new songs, as well as the songs from other solo albums and some of his greatest days with Dire Straits.
Cordoba has been one of the cities chosen for the Knopfler’s 2019 ‘Down The Road Tour’. The fans which followed the musician for decades on the stage, were honored that their city has been the only Andalusian city on Knopfler’s last tour. Today they all had perhaps the last one chance to see Knopfler live on the stage in Cordoba.
