Clapton was also asked about the similarities between writing a song and creating a Ferrari, and Clapton said that passion and obsessive care for every single detail is the two aspects in common.
“I think that when I play, or when I make a record I want to do a performance and there is a standard in my head, and I have a perfectionism problem in my head, and I think that Ferrari had the same thing,” he said.
